© M. Herbote B8/OT-ZKH HSS-1/H-34 40Smd, Gütersloh (19.05.85) Im Jahr 1985 stattete uns der letzte noch militärisch in Europa fliegende Sikorsky HSS-1 bzw. H-34 (nach 1962) zwei Besuche ab. Während der Air Show 1985 in Rheine-Bentlage stand dieser von einem 1.525 WPS Wright R-1820 Kolbenmotor angetriebene Hubschrauber noch unter dem Kommando von Cdt. F. Phlippo. Es war der letzte Besuch eines kolbenmotorgetriebenen Huschraubers in EDUO für alle Zeiten.
