In 1977 still a rival of Warsaw Pact forces this Hercules now flies as 1502 with the Polish Air Force!

© G. Wann unid. C-141B MAC, Gütersloh (1982) During annual exercises like "Reforger" sometimes also Military Airlift Command Starlifters visited Gütersloh. Here you can see a C-141 on the dispersal at EDUO together with an USArmy U-21A, a BAC 1-11 of "Caledonian", a Hercules C1 of the LTW and a 240OCU Chinook HC1. In the background the big shelter that later became home for 18Sqn and now 1Rgt can be identified. Picture taken from the Air Traffic Control Tower balcony.
